a few things

- I...have five extra icons spaces? o_o How'd that happen?
- This song, I Know Things Now, should be one of Ada's theme songs. XD It's from Into the Woods and is sung from the perspective of Little Red Riding Hood. '...but he seemed so nice.' >D
- more Nightray rambling, I know, you're shocked.
So this is the unnamed gentleman with Jack in Sablier.

And this is Claude Nightray.

I guess we know who the Nightray ancestor in Sablier was. And he looked like he was pretty chummy with Jack, too.
- and speaking of Claude
What's in his hand? Is it the black-hilted sword Eliot uses, the one that might have belonged to Glen? Is it a watch? I think it's a watch, actually, but wouldn't it be awesome if it were the sword?
- and I thought this was a metaphor, but maybe not?

But here's the thing. If that scene actually happened, if that was what Vincent saw and stopped when he opened the door, then what in hell was Glen doing there?? When the door was opened, we were shown him out in the open, talking to a girl! What is going on?
- one last thing. The splash pages show that the Alice with the ribbon around her left leg is usually B-Rabbit, while the Alice with the ribbon on her right leg is usually Jack's Alice. It's pretty consistent, all told. But it's reversed in the story - Will usually has the ribbon on her left and, er, mean!Alice has it on her right. It's kinda weird. The Alice who died in Sablier didn't have any ribbons and you can't see the legs of the girl who told Vincent that Gilbert would die.

Date: 2010-01-29 04:19 pm (UTC)But why doesn't Gil think to ask Raven when this "first" time was that he tried to contract and failed? You'd think that he would have questioned it at the very least, but he only looks shocked for a half second.
Also, wow. I never noticed that Claude was the same in both panels. Good catch!

Date: 2010-02-05 06:44 pm (UTC)I think Gilbert not asking about it was another instance of his high powered blinders. XD He was focused on getting the damn chain and not much else. Also, possibly people are warned not to listen to the things chains say?
Nah, I don't think both of those panels are Claude. I think the first is the ancestor of the Nightray family in Sablier (possibly the one accused of being a traitor for helping the Baskervilles?) and Claude just looks a lot like his great-great-grandfather. XD

Date: 2010-01-29 05:54 pm (UTC)I think Claude is holding a watch, but it's too blurred so it's a little hard to tell. You know, if you squint your eyes a little...
And I think the further it goes on the more likely it seems that Vincent did actually interrupt some sort of ceremony. Course that just makes for all sorts of other questions. I wish we didn't have to wait another month.
late reply is laaaaaaaaaate
Date: 2010-02-05 06:39 pm (UTC)Vincent certainly did something. Whatever it was, it was something Miranda Barma wanted and something Glen was pleased with (his smile). V. strange.
