Yup, NaNo's why I've been scarce the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I've been stalled at around 16,000 words for the last few days once I realized the scale of what I was writing didn't really fit the story all that well. D: So I've decided to take a break, walk away and do something else before I kill myself via keyboard.
It is a very, very silly and cliche fic, I am sorry to say. But hey, something has to be better than nothing...right?
(omg, i am not kidding, it is so cliche, but i was up at 3 in the morning and i thought it was hilarious, so. /o\ and anyway, it's technically my first fic - i think i should be allowed some leeway room for suckiness.)
/o\ Oh, it's a cliche, believe me. It's an innuendo/jump to conclusions fic centering around the Alice in Wonderland riddle, Why is a Raven Like a Writing Desk? ...yeah.
3am is like, a gold mine for humor, though sometimes its hard to tell if what you're thinking of is funny or just the crazed delusions of an insomniac. orz
I would have loved to help you if English had been my first language, but... well, it's not. Good luck for finding someone though! You'll post the fic here once it's finished, right?
I think I'm just gonna post it, no matter what. I could look at the normal beta comms, but somehow I doubt I'll be able to pick someone up for PH. *sigh*
