Haha, I love that Naruto's first reaction when he saw the 4th Hokage (after the shock) was to hit him. XD And I also love his, "How can I do it?!?! I'm stupid! And not a good ninja-!" The 4th seemed a bit too tritw, I wish we had gotten more personality from him.
And I still can't get over the fact that they freaking killed off Kakashi wtf. And that Hinata was basically used as a Girl in a Fridge, they couldn't even have her do ANYTHING useful. And where the hell is Sasuke? *grumps*
So how about this: Yuuko takes S&S in a Tube and protects them. She is given the Tube by Touya and Yukito.
Yuuko never does anything without a price.
So was the price filled by S&S's sacrifice? Or did Touya and Yukito have to pay the price for Yuuko to keep the Tube and protect it? Could that price have been their connection to Watanuki? Might explain why they've never showed up around the boy (as far as we know).
Though I would LOVE to know how it was that Watanuki gave up his memories TO YUUKO before the story even started. How did he know about her? Someone had to have told him about her, and it kinda makes sense that it would have been, if not his parents, then Touya and Yukito. idek
Unsubstantiated theory is unsubstantiated, but it keeps me entertained. :D
TFirs thing that struck out- the animation isn't as good as Holics. Which kinda sucks, since I would have liked to have better animation for the OAD with the fight scenes.
Speaking of the fight scenes. That one part with the impailing shadow things and Syaoran's eyes rolling was creepy. I don't know why, but that image disturbed me, probably because I didn't expect it in the context of Tsubasa/Holic.
Looks like both OADs are going to directly crossover with each other during the dream sequence.
I've said it before, but these OADs look like they're gonna have serious depressing endings. For Tsubasa, it's the death of Sakura by the hands of Syaoran 2. For Holic is might be more subtle. Watanuki has his existential crisis, ending with crying in Yuuko's arms. But the upturn of that situation is his determination to go save Kohane, no matter if he 'exists' or not. But Kohane has already been saved in the OAD! I suppose we could get the conversation with Doumeki, where he says something like, "as long as people remember me and care about me, I'll try to exist, no matter what." Guess we'll see.
